Job Description
a) Help the scientist for sample collection at dairy farm/field/clinics. b) Performance/assistance in various laboratorial works related to the project. c) Maintenance of records of research & field work. d) Typing/Data entry of record of the project. e) Travelling out of station to council headquarters at New Delhi or other places. f) Any other assigned office or field work.

Education Qualification
i. B.V.Sc. & AH or B.Sc. degree in any relevant branch of Life Sciences with a minimum OCPA of 6.0/10.0. M.V.Sc in Veterinary Public Health & Epidemiology/Veterinary Public Health/Microbiology/Animal Biotechnology/ M.Sc in Biotechnology or any relevant branch of life science with a minimum OCPA of 6.5/10.0. ii. Candidate eligible for JRF should have qualified NET/GATE or equivalent qualification as per new DST guidelines or qualified National Level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments/their agencies and institutions (0M: SWS9/Z-08/2018 dated January 30, 2019 and 0M: SWS9/z-05/2019 dated July 10, 2020). iii. Candidate should have knowledge of Punjabi upto Matric level. The condition of knowledge of Punjabi upto matric level is however, relaxable, if the candidate is found otherwise deserving. Age Limit: iv. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Veterinary Public Health and Epidemiology/ knowledge/working experience in immunological/ microbiological/ biotechnological techniques. v. The post is valid only till the availability of sanctioned funds. The post is purely temporary in nature on six months basis and is co-terminus with the project.

Job Description
