The number of posts to be filled up is subject to increase or decrease following requisition of the Department/other Departments under the purview of Combined Miscellaneous Service.

Age: 18 to 40 years as on 28.07.2023. Upper age is relaxable by 5 years in case of ST/SC/PwDs(PH) candidates & Govt. Servants, provided that the SC/ST/PwDs(PH) Governments servants shall not get this relaxation over and above the general relaxation of 5 years available to them.

* As per GA (P&T) Department Memo No.F.23(11)-GA(P&T)/2022 dated 11.07.2022 to relax 02(two) years in the upper age limit for all categories of candidates against the entry of age limit due to Covid Pandemic situation.

** Candidates with Benchmark disabilities will be governed as per the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India “THE PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES (EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES, PROTECTION OF RIGHT AND FULL PARTICIPATION) ACT, 1995” of the Department of Ministry of Law, Justice and Company Affairs Gazette publication dated 1st January, 1996 & subsequent amendments.

The last date of submission of the online application is 28.07.2023 (up to 5.30 PM). The application(s) received after the closing date will not be entertained.

Choice of centre: The Commission will conduct the Preliminary Examination at 06(six) different centers viz i) Agartala, ii) Ambassa, iii) Belonia, iv) Dharmanagar, v) Kailashahar & vi) Udaipur. The intending candidates will have to write the name of any one center out of the six as instructed in the Online Application portal. If a candidate does not mention the name of the center in his/her Application Form, the Commission at its discretion will allot a center from any one of the listed centers. The Commission also reserves the right to change the Center as opted by the Candidate(s), if considered necessary.

Scheme of the Examination:

The Examination will comprise three successive stages viz i) Preliminary Examination (Multiple Choice Type Test) ii) Main Examination (Conventional Type Test) iii) Personality Test, details as mentioned below.

(i) Preliminary Examination:

The preliminary Examination will consist of one paper containing Multiple Choice Type Questions on General Studies and Arithmetic with one hour thirty minutes duration. The Preliminary Examination will be a Screening Test for the selection of candidates for admission to the Main Examination.

A limited no. of candidates, a maximum of 5(five) times the total posts (in category wise), will be selected merit-wise based on the result of the Preliminary Examination, subject to securing minimum qualifying marks (35% for UR candidates and 30% for reserved category candidates) or otherwise as fixed by the Commission. The marks obtained by the candidates in the Preliminary Examination will not be taken into account for the purpose of determining the final merit list.

(ii) Main Examination:

The Main Examination will consist of two papers of Conventional Type Questions namely:

Paper 1: English
Paper 2: General Studies and Arithmetic

Full Marks for each paper will be 100, and time allotted will be 2 hours 30 minutes for each paper. The examinations for both papers will be held preferably on the same day at Agartala. In no case, a candidate will be called for the Personality Test unless he/she appears in all the papers of the Examination.

Once applicant registers his/her particulars, a User ID is generated and sent to his/her registered mobile number and email ID. Applicants need to apply for the post using the OTPR User ID through the Commission's website. (c) Applicants should avoid submitting multiple applications. However, if due to any unavoidable circumstances, any applicant submits multiple applications then he/she must ensure that the application with latest Receipt Number is complete in all respect. (d) In case of multiple applications, the application with latest Receipt Number shall only be entertained by the Commission and fee paid against one Receive Number shall not be adjusted against any other Receipt Number. 2. (a) Candidates are required to submit self attested copy of certificates in support of their claims regarding Age, Educational Qualifications (all mark sheets and certificates), Permanent Resident Certificate/Citizenship Certificate, Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes, Experience Certificates, API score (as per Annexure- 'B' ) and others, if mentioned in the application in the receipt section addressed to the Secretary, Tripura Public Service Commission, Akhaura Road, Agartala, Tripura, Pin-799001 . Submission of such documents will be allowed up to 24.02.2023 (5.30 PM) along with printed copy of Online Application failing which candidature will be treated as cancelled. The Commission will not entertain any application thereafter. b) Applicants must be in possession of the prescribed minimum qualification(s). Mere issue of admission certificate to the candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally cleared by the Commission. On scrutiny of documents, if a candidate found ineligible as per terms & condition of the Advertisement (including prescribed Recruitment fee) his /her candidature will be rejected. 3. (a) Group-A Posts:- Rs.400/- (Rupees Four Hundred) only for General Candidates and Rs. 350/-(Rupees three Hundred and Fifty) only for ST/SC/BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates. Recruitment fee so deposited, is non-refundable. (b) SC/ST Candidates of other States are not recognized by the Govt. of Tripura. (c) If a candidate submits incomplete application in respect of terms & condition of the Advertisement and without requisite recruitment fee, his/her candidature will be rejected. 4. SC/ST Candidates of other States (not recognized by the Govt. of Tripura) should apply for unreserved vacancy as general candidate along with recruitment fee prescribed for general candidates. 5. If the application is not routed through proper channel, at the day of interview candidates will have to submit `no objection' certificate failing which his/ her candidature will not be considered for preparation of final merit list. In that no-objection certificate, it is to be clearly mentioned that your employer has `No-objection' if you are considered for recruitment to the post for which you have applied for. 6. Decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate at any stage of the selection process shall be final. 7. Mobile Phone/Electronic Gadgets etc. are banned in the Campus of the Examination Premises /Interview Premises. Any Phone/ Electronic Gadget found in possession of any candidate in the Examination Premises /Interview Premises shall be confiscated forthwith and he/she may be debarred from appearing at the Examination /interview and also for the Examination(s)/Interview to be conducted by the Commission in future Violation of such instruction will be dealt as per Law. 9.
