Requirements
Should have minimum 10 yrs. of post qualification work experience in Central or State PSU or leading private organization as a Generalist Executive in HR & Personnel Functions such as Recruitment, Promotion, and Establishment matters, Employee Welfare, Contract Labour Management, Statutory Compliances, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Industrial Relations. Knowledge & experience in SAP and implementation of SAP HR Modules will be an added advantage.

The candidates need to apply online in the career section of OCPL website (www.ocpl.org.in) from 10 AM of 01-07-2020 to 5PM of 21-07-2020. Candidates should click on the online application link, read the instructions carefully and fill-in the online application form giving accurate information. If the online application is not successfully completed, candidate is required to register again. Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected. ii) No request with respect to change in any data entered by the candidate will be entertained once the online application is submitted successfully. While applying online, candidate needs to upload the scanned copy of their recent passport size colour photograph & signature. In case the candidate is called for personal interview, he/she will be required to produce his/her original certificate and other relevant documents as mentioned in the on-line application form. iii) Recent colour passport size photograph and signature in prescribed format (.jpg/.jpeg).Note : Candidates should ensure that the same passport size colour photograph is used throughout this recruitment process. iv) The downloaded application with self-attested photocopies of all the documents in support of the information given by the candidate in their on-line application should reach Company Secretary, Odisha Coal and Power Limited, Zone - A, Ground floor, Fortune Towers, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar - 751023, Odisha by post immediately after submission of online application. Name of the post applied for should be super-scribed on the envelop used for sending the hard copy of the application. No application will be received by hand. No manual / paper application will be entertained directly unless registered and applied online. Responsibilities
(7-9) years of post qualification experience in the executive cadre in the relevant area in a Govt./PSU or private company of repute. The candidate must have experience of in a power plant of unit size not less than 210MW, preferably with an MBA. Operation and monitoring of the Document Management Plan which includes management of generic computer systems, electronic document management systems, and hard copies. Providing internal distribution of all incoming and outgoing correspondence to the team following predefined distribution lists or communications protocols - This would include letters, document transmittals, drawings, inspection records. Updating spreadsheets and allocating document numbers. Working with the Document Team. Identifying and troubleshooting system shortcoming, ensuring system availability to support the project team in their daily functions. Ensuring all company documentation (both in electronic and hard copies) is duly filed keeping tracking logs up to date. Provision of assistance to the team searching and retrieving documents in the document system. Ensuring the smooth and diligent management of all project documentation (soft and hard copy documents).

As its maiden venture, the company has set up two thermal power plants with a capacity of 210 MW each in the IB valley area of Jharsuguda District in the State of Odisha (Ib Thermal power Station) at a cost of Rs.11350 million. The locational advantage of the power plant lies in its close proximity to the coal mines as well as to the Hirakud reservoir.
