Minimum Salary
A consolidated salary of Rs.40,000/- pm and other allowances as determined by the Commission by order from time to time which shall be reduced by the basic pension (including commuted value)in case of retired employees only. Besides Rs.8,000/- pm is payable towards house rent in case Govt. accommodation is not made available or not availed during continuance as Ombudsman in case of retired employees. The Commission may revise the salary shortly considering all relevant factors.

The age limit for the above post shall be between 52 to 62 years as on 01.03.2017
Desirable Qualifications
The applicants must have Bachelors Degree and have at least 25 years of experience and exposure in Legal/ Engineering/ Economics/ Finance/ Industry/ Civil Service/ Consumer Affairs/ Persons of eminence. Knowledge of Oriya is essential; experience in electricity sector will be preferred. The applicant should have excellent Oral & Communication skill.
