Qualification

1. A Degree or its equivalent from a recognized university 12 (+2 stage) or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University and for the skill test prescribed dictation speed of 80 W.P.M. duration time 10 minutes and transcription time is 50 minutes (English) and 65 minutes (Hindi) for the post of Jr. Stenographer, OR A pass in ISt year of B. Sc (Physics) or, a pass in 10+2 stage in Higher Secondary in Science (Math or Physics) for the post of Electrical Signal Maintainer-II in S&T Dept.

Instructions

1. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria should submit their application form in good quality A/4 size paper in prescribed format given in notification duly completed in all respects with self attested photo copies of necessary enclosures (certificate of age, education, sports achievements, caste/community etc.) 2. Application should be filled up by candidates in their own hand writing either in Hindi or in English language using blue/black ball point pen. Candidate should write his/her name, father's name/husband's name in capital letters as given in Educational Certificate. 3. Candidate should also indicate other particulars as have been asked in the application form. One recent passport size colour photograph (4cm x 5cm), should be affixed on the application form without fail. The Photo may preferably not be older than 3 months as on the date of applying. The photo should clearly reveal the full face, should be sharp and clear. 4. Signature of the applicant must be full and in running hand, not in block/capital letter or disjointed letters. Candidates are required to sign in English or in Hindi in the prescribed places provided in the application form. 5. If Left Thumb Impression (LTI) not affixed/blurred/ smudged, on the application form, the application will be liable to be rejected. Candidate should clearly indicate the specific sports discipline, event, and position applied for as given in Para I above (like as e.g. Fast Bowler/Wicket Keeper e.t.c. 6. Applicant should possess requisite educational qualification and sports achievements before the opening date of notification. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Minorities/EconomicaIly Backward Class, claiming for less fee as mentioned in para 5 (ii), must attach self attested photocopy of requisite Caste Certificate/Minority Certificate or self-declaration/lncome Certificate. Otherwise their candidature will be summarily rejected

About North Western Railway (NWR)

The North Western Railway is one of the sixteen railway zones in India. It is headquartered at Jaipur.
It comprises four divisions: Jodhpur and reorganized Bikaner division of the erstwhile Northern Railway zone and reorganized Jaipur and Ajmer divisions of the erstwhile Western Railway zone. This zone came into existence on 1 October 2002.
This railway comprises a total of 578 stations covering a total of 5,449.29 kilometres (3,386.03 mi) out of which 2,575.03 kilometres (1,600.05 mi) are broad gauge and 2,874.23 kilometres (1,785.96 mi) are metre gauge.
