Candidates must meet the following requirements: Master's degree or 4-year Bachelor's degree (B.Sc./B.Tech. or equivalent) in any branch of Science/Technology, M.V.Sc., or MBBS from a recognized institution as per RCB norms. Minimum 60% aggregate or equivalent GPA (55% for OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, EWS). Valid 5-year doctoral fellowship from UGC, CSIR, ICMR, DBT or any other Government-recognized agency. Name and Date of Birth must match Secondary School Certificate (10th standard). Candidates appearing in the final year of qualifying examination are eligible to apply but must produce proof of eligibility at the time of joining.

Selection Process: Selection for BRIC-NII PhD Admission 2026 is based on a single round of offline interview conducted at the BRIC-NII campus in New Delhi. Shortlisted candidates will be informed on 11 May 2026. Offline Interviews: 8 June 2026 to 12 June 2026. Accommodation for outstation candidates may be arranged for one day at nominal charges. Final selection depends on performance in the interview. Selected candidates must activate their JRF fellowship immediately upon joining.
