Desirable: M.Phil, LLM, Ph.D, additional qualifications, research experience, published papers, and post-qualification experience in the relevant field
Experience
One year research experience in Government / Reputed Semi-Governmental Organizations / International Development Agencies / Research Organizations / NGOs OR One year legal experience. Internship / Training experience will not be considered

Important Instructions
Engagement is purely contractual and does not confer any right for regular appointment in NHRC. Selected candidates will have to sign a Consultancy Contract. During engagement period, JRCs cannot take up any other job/assignment. High standards of conduct, secrecy, and integrity are required. Violation may lead to immediate termination. Police verification is mandatory. Negative report will result in termination. NHRC reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates or cancel the empanelment process at any stage. Candidates must maintain confidentiality of all official information. Duration: Initially 2 years, extendable up to 5 years based on performance. Leave: 1.5 days per completed month with no accumulation beyond calendar year. Official travel entitlement: AC 2 Tier Rail / Economy Air with hotel, taxi, and food reimbursement as per rules.
