Important Instructions
1. The minimum age is 21 years and maximum 45 years as on 1.10.2022. 2. Position is purely contractual basis and will be engaged for a period of 12 months and extendable upto August 2024 subject to satisfactory performance/budget availability. 3. The candidates have to fill application as per annexure 1. Attach the scanned copies of self-attested certificates of date of birth, degrees and marks sheets from matriculation onwards. 4. Scanned copies of experience certificates and publications also need to be sent by email along with Annexure 1. 5. All the original documents should be produced at the time of interview. 6. Only the candidates having essential qualifications should apply. 8 Attach no objection certificate from the employer in case he/she is in employment or same at the time of joining if selected. 9. No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the interview. 10. Candidature will be rejected under circumstances of false claims. 11. Director (NICIPM) has reserved the right to cancel/withdraw the walk in interview at any time without assigning any reason.

Education Qualification
Master’s degree in Geo-informatics/Environment Science/Agricultural Meteorology/Soil Science/Earth Science/Remote Sensing & GIS/Computer Application/Agricultural Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/ Computer Science with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET/GATE qualification or equivalent or Ph.D. in any of above disciplines (As per ICAR memorandum F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015 and F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015)
Pay Scale
Rs. 25,000/ month + 30% HRA

Experience in RS & GIS, data analysis including knowledge of computer and statistical analysis tools
How to Apply
Candidates appearing for interview should compulsorily bring filled in application as per format annexed. Original Certificates of age proof, educational qualifications (from 10th class onwards), and documents in support of essential, and desirable qualifications / experience along with a set of self-attested photocopies along with the recent passport sized photograph should be brought. Interview of the eligible candidates would be held at the premises of NCIPM on 10.08.2018 at 11.00AM
Important Instructions
1. Age limit for Senior Research Fellow is 35 for Men and 40 years for Women. 2. The age is relaxable for SC/ST and OBC candidates for SRF, applicable as per ICAR/Govt. of India norms. 3. The above position will be filled up on contractual basis and is up to 31.03.2018 or co terminus with the project. The renewal of yearly contract is subjected to satisfactory performance/sanction obtain from the funding agency. The selected candidate(s) have no claim for regular appointment(s) after expiry of the Project at NCIPM/ICAR. 4. No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the interview

About National Centre for Integrated Pest Management (NCIPM)

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is a system approach that combines a wide array of crop production and protection practices to minimize the economic losses caused by the pests (insect pests, diseases, nematodes, weeds, rodents, birds etc.). It emphasizes on careful monitoring of pests and conservation of their natural enemies. NCIPM has made a modest beginning in achieving the goals of IPM and is now making essential and pragmatic efforts to develop computer based programs for storage and retrieval of information on different aspects of IPM. Research programmes have been formulated for number of crops for promoting environmentally sound IPM technologies. Centre is striving for effective co-operation with All India Coordinated Crop Improvement Programmes; Crop Research Institutes; SAUs; DST; Environment and Bio technology Departments of GOI; National Remote Sensing Agency; IMD; NIC and DPPQ&S; NGOs and Industries for implementation of its programmes.
