Qualification
Master's degree with 55% marks in Cyber/DigitaI Forensics or Information Technology Computer and Science Engineering or Cyber Security and Incident Response or Computer and Information Sciences, OR Master of Computer Application with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer/Digital/Cyber Forensics or Forensic Accounting; OR Bachelor's degree in Law with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer/Digital/Cyber Forensics or Forensic Accounting; and Ph.D Degree or M. Phil in relatedfield, OR Minimum experience years' seven of working in Cyber/Computer/DigitaI Forensics, especially in Crime Prevention or Risk Management Enforcement.

About National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science (NICFS) – नेशनल इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ़ क्रिमिनोलॉजी एंड फॉरेंसिक साइंस

The Institute was renamed as the National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science (NICFS) in 1991 and again renamed after Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan in 2003. In 43 years of its existence, the Institute has made significant headway in the areas of training of criminal justice functionaries and others, as well as research in applied aspects of the twin subjects.
Since 2004, the Institute has been offering M.A./M.Sc. degree courses in Criminology and Forensic Science, which are open to general public.
