Postgraduate degree in Agriculture /Botany/ Fisheries/Environmental sciences/Economics with a good academic record M Phil /M.Sc (Ag) with NET is desired. Demonstrated interest in ‘science-society’ interface to address problems of sustainable rural and agricultural development.

Criteria
The fellowship shall be awarded to do Ph.D. in the foundation for three years in the areas of Biodiversity, Biotechnology, and Economics. Foundation is the recognized center for the Ph.D. program for the above three subject areas by the University of Madras. If selected one must be willing to enroll for their Ph.D. program with University of Madras.
