COMPANY PROFILE:

Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MAHATRANSCO), a wholly owned corporate entity under the Maharashtra Government, was incorporated under the Companies Act, in June, 2005 after restructuring of the erstwhile Maharashtra State Electricity Board to transmit electricity from its point of Generation to its point of Distribution. It owns and operates most of Maharashtra’s Electric Power Transmission System. MSETCL operates a transmission network of 50,631 Circuit KM of transmission lines and 728 EHV Substations with 1,36,698 MVA transformation capacity. This infrastructure constitutes most of the inter regional as well as intra-regional electric power transmission system in the State. Today, MSETCL is the largest state transmission utility in the country.

PERIOD OF CONTRACT:

3.1 Appointment shall be on contract basis for a period of 3 years from the date of joining or till attaining the age of 62 years whichever is earlier. The continuation of selected candidate in service will be subject to their annual performance assessment which will be conducted after completion of every year.

3.2 If departmental candidate selected, he/she will automatically retired from the services of MSETCL on attaining the age of superannuation i.e. 58 years in usual manner. In that case, he/she will be entitled for the retirement benefit at the time of his superannuation. Thereafter he/she will be allowed to continue on contract basis till completion of tenure or attaining 62 years of age whichever is earlier on initial pay scale of the post of the Executive Director.

PAY SCALES:

The selected candidate will draw salary in the pay scale of Rs. 125895-5540-242235.

In addition to above, the selected candidate will be entitled for DA, HRA, Medical Benefits, CPF etc. as per Company’s rules. Candidate shall also be provided Office Quarter as per Company’s rules in lieu of HRA, if required by the candidate and if available.

In addition, hired vehicle, telephone reimbursement, etc. will be provided for official use as per Company’s rules.

The approximate Monthly Gross Emoluments shall be Rs.2,48,947/- (without office accommodation)

The departmental candidates of MSETCL possessing Degree in Engineering/Technology in any other discipline and who fulfill the condition of required experience will be considered provided that they will have to compete along with other candidates in selection process based on syllabus of Electrical Engineering.

A Degree should be from a University or Institute in India, established or incorporated under Central Act or a State Act or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.

The experience means Post Qualification experience, i.e. experience acquired by the candidate after possessing the essential qualification prescribed for the post.

a) To explore possibilities and ways and means of fly ash utilization including marketing, sell and disposing of ash. b) Involve formation Joint-Ventures with other Companies requiring / utilizing fly ash for manufacturing of Bricks / Cement etc. c) Co-ordination and Contract Management. d) Tie-up with various companies requiring fly ash for their manufacturing. e) Arranging Transport facilities. f) Liaisoning with related Statutory Bodies like State Pollution Control Board, State Transport Office and Railways etc. as the case may be. g) Must have the knowledge of all norms and regulations including MoEF Guidelines related with ash utilization. h) Candidate shall be responsible for insuring utilization of fly ash as per terms of MoEF from Power Stations.
