About Kendriya Vidyalaya, Laitkor Peak, Shillong

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Laitkor Peak, AFS, Shillong was established in 1985 in Defence sector.The school is located about 15 kms away from Shillong city, the capital of Meghalaya. They Primarily cater to the educational needs of the children of Central Govt. Employees including Defence Personnel and floating population liable to frequent transfers throughout the country. Needless to say, therefore they have common syllabus and are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
