Nationality : Eligible Indian citizens can apply as per UGC eligibility criteria. The University follows Government of Odisha rules in respect of reservation and age of superannuation. Detailed subject-wise and post-wise eligibility, API/score requirements and screening norms shall be as per UGC Regulations and Higher Education Department, Government of Odisha guidelines.

Candidates within the prescribed age range and possessing the required educational qualifications as per UGC Regulations, 2018 (including PhD and post-graduation requirements for each post) can apply online through the HIMS Portal from 12 May 2026 to 10 June 2026, with hard copy submission to the University by 20 June 2026. Selection Process: Stage 1. Shortlisting & Screening Based on UGC Regulations, 2018 criteria for direct recruitment and norms prescribed by Higher Education Department, Government of Odisha. Stage 2. Selection Committee Constituted as per UGC Regulations Notification No. F.1-2/2017(EC/PS) dated 18 July 2018. Stage 3. Interview / Evaluation Selection Committee will assess academic record, research, teaching and other parameters as per UGC norms and State Government guidelines. Reservation of 33% for women, 4% for PwD and 1% for Sportspersons will be implemented on merit as per Government of Odisha principles and guidelines. Appointment to all posts will be made as per the University Act and Statutes, UGC Regulations and Higher Education Department, Government of Odisha instructions.
