Education Qualification
Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science (M.Sc./M.Tech. in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Life Sciences/Zoology or equivalent) with two years of relevant research experience; OR Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following with two years of relevant research experience: a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIRUGC NET/Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) / GATE. b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Pay Scale
Rs. 35,000/- + HRA per month (as per rules)
Desirable Qualification
Prior research experience of working in a cell and molecular biology lab with training in cell culture and basic cell biology techniques such as protein/RNA extraction, NGS, PCR, Western blotting, cytometry, immunostaining and microscopy etc. is desirable, with publication. Advance knowledge of using computers for data analysis and record keeping is required.

King George’s Medical University, for a while known as Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University, is a medical school located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. It came into being after the upgrade of King George’s Medical College (established in 1911) into a university by an act passed by government of Uttar Pradesh on 16 September 2002.
The University has capacity for 1250 undergraduates students (including 280 dental students) and 450 postgraduate students.
The MBBS course takes four and a half years to complete and has an intake of 250 students each year.
