Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the closing date of application (31-05-2026). Only citizens of India are eligible to apply. Proficiency in handling Private Board Exchange (PBX) Board with a minimum experience of 6 months is a crucial and mandatory criterion - no application will be accepted without a valid Experience Certificate in handling PBX Board. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing in Written Test, Practical Test, and Interview - candidates must make their own arrangements for boarding/lodging at 2 STC, Goa. The selection process for Indian Army CSBO Grade-II Recruitment 2026 consists of 3 stages - Written Test (100 marks, merit-based), Practical Test (qualifying only), and Interview (qualifying only), followed by a Medical Test for shortlisted candidates. Selection will be made strictly on the basis of merit in the Written Test, subject to the candidate qualifying in the Practical Test and Interview. To reduce the number of candidates for the Written Examination, screening of applications may be carried out based on percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation/10th Board examination. Written Test (100 Marks - Merit Based): Part-I General Intelligence & Numerical Aptitude Objective Multiple Choice Type 25 marks, Part-II General Awareness Objective Multiple Choice Type 25 marks, Part-III General English Objective Multiple Choice Type 25 marks, Part-IV Logic & Reasoning Objective Multiple Choice Type 25 marks. The question paper will be bilingual (English and Hindi). However, questions of General English subject will be in English only. No extra weightage will be given for additional/extra/higher qualifications. Practical Test and Interview (Qualifying Only): Practical Test To check candidate's proficiency in handling exchange operation - Qualifying in nature only (marks not counted for merit). Interview Conducted along with Practical Test for qualifying purpose only - marks not counted for final merit. Medical Test Only.
