Online applications are invited from Indian Nationals for appointment to the following posts of this Institute:

Note:

1. Required experience in different Pay Levels mentioned in this advertisement is as per 7th CPC. However,
   experience gained prior to implementation of 7th CPC will be counted to ‘equivalent’ Pay Level/ Grade pay.
2. Higher Initial pay may be considered for deserving candidates.
3. Selection Committee reserves the right not to select any candidate for a post.

General Conditions:

1. Relaxation in age for SC, ST, OBC, PwD and Ex-Servicemen would be admissible as per Central Government Rules.
   Persons working with IITs who are educationally qualified and otherwise eligible can be considered for the
   recruitment up to a maximum age of 50 years.
2. Persons employed in Govt./Semi-Govt. organizations or Educational Institutions should apply with due permission of
   their present employer and should produce a ‘No Objection Certificate’ (NOC) at the time of interview/ skill test,
   if called for the same. Applicants without NOC will not be permitted to appear in the interview/ skill test.
3. The Institute reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions at its own discretion.
4. Online application at the Institute website (https://iitgn.ac.in/careers/nonteachingstaff)
   must be submitted by 23:59 hrs. on 07 July 2023.
5. Outstation candidates called for selection test shall be reimbursed travel expenses from place of residence to
   Gandhinagar and back as per instructions in the call letter, on production of proof of appropriate documents.
6. No interim correspondence will be entertained. Canvassing in any form shall lead to automatic disqualification.
7. Fulfilling minimum qualification does not entail a call for selection interview. Only candidates shortlisted on the
   basis of better qualification and quality of relevant experience shall be called for presentation/interview.
8. The institute reserves all rights not to call an applicant for an interview or not to fill up a position through
   this round of selection process without assigning any reason.

For Deputation:

1. Only qualified engineers working in Central Government, State Government, Public sector Undertakings or Autonomous
   Bodies can apply for deputation basis.
2. The Applicant must have adequate experience in construction of public building or facility/maintenance of large
   townships having WTP, STP, HVAC and electrical substation.
3. For application on deputation basis, Candidates must have at least an overall grading of ‘Very Good’ in the past
   five APARs starting with 2018-19.
4. Appointments shall be made on deputation basis, initially for a period of two years, as per the Government of
   India rules for deputation/foreign service appointments. In addition, the Institute pays a special allowance of up
   to 30% of basic pay in deserving cases.
5. The applicant for any post must be in the same/similar cadre of the parent organization. However, those of next
   lower cadre with outstanding qualification/work experience may also apply for the higher position.
