Ph.D. in Chemistry (with specialization in Peptides) / Biochemistry / Cell Biology / Microbiology or any closely related field. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis and are awaiting the award of their degree are also eligible to apply.

Walk-in Interview Date: 07/04/2026. Reporting Time: 10:30 AM. Venue: Seminar Room No.33, Main Building, IISER Pune. The appointment is purely temporary and will terminate automatically on completion of the project. The appointed person shall have no claim of appointment or absorption in IISER Pune or the funding agency. Educational qualifications must be obtained from recognized universities or institutions. The number of posts may vary depending upon requirements during the selection process. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview. Bringing any influence, political or otherwise, will be treated as disqualification. Initial appointment period is 6 months, extendable based on performance and continuation of the project.
