Job Purpose
Assist in carrying out high quality empirical and applied research in rural drinking water and sanitation sector to address sectoral challenges and facilitate in the achievement of ‘Har Ghar Jal’ and ‘ODF Plus’ in rural India and assist in related education, capacity building and Training and outreach activities.
Job Type & Duration
Will be hired under Project Code. Non-Teaching Contract
Reporting to
Jal Jeevan Mission Chair Professor
Will also closely work with:
- Internal: Post-Doctoral Associate, Junior Research Assistant, Technical Assistants and others in the team
- External: Survey Agency, Govt Agencies, Secondary Data Providers

Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting research projects and capacity building exercise.
- Work on data collection, statistical tools / MS Excel for data analysis.
- Assist in preparing draft reports and organize training programmes.
- Coordinate with other stakeholders.
- Deliver periodic reports and presentations of findings.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualification and Personal Profile
M. B. A/ M. A. M. S/ M. Phil in Economics
Other Skill and Ability Requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Mature attitude with a capability to discuss coordination / research issues with other stakeholders/team members.
- Knowledge of sources of data and data collection methods.
- Familiarity with statistical tools for data analysis and report generation.
- Excellent MS skills is a must.
- Confident and self-motivated.
- Proven research skills in any field of study.
- Superior analytical skills with an eye for details.

Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Assist in general administration of the hostel including mess related activities.
- Assist in Maintaining records and files in connection with the hostel administration.
- Assist in budgeting, resource allocation, verifying & clearing bills etc.
- Handling inventory management and supplies procurement
- Assist in preparing management information reports.
- Communicate with all relevant stakeholders to build a sustainable relationship.
- Co-ordinate with staff on all matters relating to hygiene, sanitation, cleanliness etc.
- Any other related work may be deemed necessary from time to time
Qualification and Personal Profile
- Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree from an institute of repute. A master’s degree is desirable.
- A minimum of 6 years’ experience is required.
- Candidates having experience of handling students in an Institute/College Hostel is essential.
- Candidates having administrative experience in hostel administration is desirable.
Other Skill and Ability Requirements
- Strong interpersonal communication skills – oral and written.

Compensation
The indicative annual CTC will be in the range of Rs. 7.26 Lakhs – 9.52 Lakhs. The compensation would be fixed based

Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities

- Preparing various CTL documents like reports, articles, content for social media posts, and marketing and promotional collaterals.
- Coordinating events for brand building and strengthening the ecosystem.
Qualification and Personal Profile
- The candidate should be a Graduate in English/Journalism/Communication or Business/Management studies.
- A master’s degree in the relevant field is desirable.
- The candidate should have a minimum of 4 years’ experience. One year experience in case writing is strongly desirable.
Other Skill and Ability Requirements
- A strong command of the English language
- Demonstrable ability to convert ideas and insights discussed by faculty into content suitable for case studies.
- Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to transcribe and maintain qualitative data, edit content and express ideas in a structured manner suitable for teaching cases.
- Suitable knowledge of business, government, and institutions that is necessary to relate to the content of the cases.
- Interpersonal skills to work with peers and faculty members.
- Willingness to learn and absorb new ideas and follow the latest development in the fields of business, government, and institutions.
Compensation
The indicative annual CTC will be in the range of Rs. 6.3 lakhs – 9.52 Lakhs. The compensation will be fixed based on the candidate’s experience and qualification and will be as per IIMB Contract Appointment Rules.
