Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – One Post

Duration of the Project:

2 Years

Nature of the post:

The position is purely temporary initially for one year and renewable for one more year subject to satisfactory performance. The position will be governed by the administrative rules/service conditions of MPCST and PDPM IIITDM, Jabalpur.

Essential qualification:

B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech or equivalent in ECE/relevant discipline with 1st class.

Age limit: Preferably below 30 years as on the date of interview.

Note: Relaxation to SC/ST/OBC will be provided as per institute norms.

Desired qualification:

GATE/NET or equivalent

Good knowledge in VLSI circuits and systems with basic understanding of electronic devices.

Salary:

Rs. 20,000/- per month only.

Mode of Written test and Interview:

The written test and interview will be conducted in offline mode.

For Non-GATE applicants, a written test will be conducted; however, written tests may be relaxed for the candidate with GATE/NET.

Applications are invited for the Position of one JRF in a sponsored research project supported by TiHAN,(CLOSED)
IIT Hyderabad under NM-ICPS of DST, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. The
details are as follows:
Title of the Project: “UAV-assisted Wi-Fi Geofencing for UAV Tracking and Activity Monitoring in
Restricted Perimeter”
Appointment duration: 6 month
Job Description: The project work will involve the design, implementation, and testing of signal
processing algorithms and machine learning algorithms using python.
Essential Qualification:
● Junior Research Fellow (JRF): M. Tech. in Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer Science Engineering/
any similar discipline with valid GATE/NET OR similar National level Exam qualified with
knowledge in the field of the project.
● The non GATE/NET qualified candidates has to appear for a separate written exam followed by
Interview
● Note: The above advertise position may be downgraded as project assistance with remuneration of
Rs: 25,000/- per month in case no suitable candidate found for JRF Position
Desired Qualification: Knowledge of signal processing, machine learning, python programming, etc.
Preference will be given to a candidate having knowledge/experience in the area of the project.
Remuneration: The remuneration for JRF is Rs. 31,000/- per month. The accommodation or HRA may
be provided based on the institute rule.
