1. Ph.D in any subject as mentioned in the list given at Annexure-1 or having 3 years of Research and Development or Techno-administrative experience after M.Tech in the list given at Annexure-1. OR 2. M.Sc in any subject as mentioned in the list given at Annexure-1 with 3 years of Research and Development or Techno-administrative experience.

Eligible and Interested Candidates have to report at the venue at 09:00 AM on Tuesday, 26th November, 2019 at Gujarat Biotechnology Research Centre, Block B & D, 6th Floor, M S Building, Sector-11, Gandhinagar-382011. The candidates arriving upto 11:00 AM shall be considered for the selection process.
General
Instructions
• The above posts are purely adhoc, temporary and contractual in nature and are in force for a maximum period of 06 (six) months. • Maximum age on the date of interview of the applicant should be 45 years for Research Associate and 40 years for Junior Research Fellow. • No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. • The walk-in interview will be on 26th November, 2019 at 11:00 AM. • The selection will be done based on written test and/or interview, depending on the number of candidates reporting for selection. • The selected candidates are entitled for 01 (one) monthly casual leave. • In the case of resignation by the candidate, 15 days’ notice has to be served and no leave shall be entertained in the notice period. In the case of relieving the candidate by GSBTM, 15 days’ notice will be served by GSBTM, and salary for the same period will be given. • Candidates appearing for the selection process, should bring xerox copy of age proof, educational qualification and experience along with the original copies of the document for verification. • The selected candidates will have to join GSBTM within 7 days of receiving the joining letter.

The State Government of Gujarat, in its resolve and continued endeavors for socio-economic up-liftment of society, has identified Biotechnology as most potential tool for development. The State intends to promote biotechnology sector by building appropriate image, encouraging entrepreneurship, strengthening organizational colorations and forecasting business partnerships. For facilitating the development of biotechnology in the State, Government of Gujarat has constituted Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission, under the aegis of Department of Science and Technology. VisionTo realize and harness the potential of Biotechnology as a human endeavor for the highest intellectual pursuit and as an effective future delivery system for creating a disease free, nutritionally secure society living in safe, clean environment, leading to overall socio-economic growth, welfare and progress of humanity. MissionGSBTM will promote, support and facilitate the development of biotechnology in the state by promoting research and development in the field of biotechnology, by generating the quality human resource in the field of biotechnology and by supporting the development of biotechnology industries by taking effective measures and policy and planning level.
