The role of Advisor, with respect to the specified discipline, will broadly include- a) Contributing towards plan and execution of new schemes and project. b) Contributing in overcoming major constraints & bottleneck faced by departments of the domain they are engaged for. c) Identifying the areas of improvement in the domain and to suggest the way out. d) Identifying non-value adding activities that may be eliminated and to advice on the gainful alternative deployment of resources that were engaged in such non-value adding activities. e) Capacity building of the department for being self-reliant in their respective domain. f) To come out with innovative ideas to simplify and shorten the process of workflow reasonably to accelerate the pace of obtaining and end result. g) Taking up specific Task/ Projects, formulating schemes etc. and playing the role of Change Agent in Execution of such Task/Projects. h) Any other jobs assigned to him/her as per requirement.
Pay Scale
Consolidated Monthly Compensation: Retd. E-6 - Rs.75,000/-, Retd. E-7 - Rs.90,000/-, Retd. E-8- Rs. 1,05,000 (ii) Conveyance charges: Company shall provide Conveyance for full time Advisors as per availability. However, where conveyance is not provided, they shall be eligible for 5% of consolidated pay per month as conveyance charges.

Job Description
The selected advisors would be stationed at any of the HQ.Estb./areas of Eastern Coalfields Limited. 2. The engagement of Advisor shall be subject to Medical fitness to be certified by Company Medical Officer. 3. Notice Period for termination of contract - one month's notice or consolidated compensation amount from either side. 4. The Advisors will maintain all information/ documents/ materials gathered during the course of the engagement in strict confidence. They will not copy or make notes of such information/ documents except in conjunction with the work for the Company. 5. They will not divulge to anyone outside the Company or use any of the information/ documents/ materials gathered during the course of engagement for their own or anyone else's benefits, either during or after the terms of engagement with the Company. The aforesaid obligation shall also apply to proprietary/ confidential information/ documents of third parties received by them or the Company in the normal course of the engagement with the Company. 6. The Advisors shall, while demitting the Office, handover all information/ documents/ materials (in soft/ hard format) under their possession, during the engagement period, to the concerned HOD. 7. Tax — In case payment of GST is required, then the same shall be reimbursed on production of proof of such payment. Other terms and conditions will beas erCIL's Olic in vo ue.

Education Qualification
The Scheme covers the engagement of superannuated statutory personnel and essential category employees of ECL/ClL/Govt. on fixed tenure basis in ECL. This scheme is not meant for re-appointment but would be treated as an extended period of service due to exceptional situation to tide over the crisis temporarily in view of acute shortage of statutory and essential/critical category employees causing serious impediment to work or to escape statutory violation. The functional Directors of ECL can approve the engagement of retired statutory personnel & critical category employee under the scheme. a) Where there is a vacancy in the approved Manpower Budget. b) In case Departmental candidates are not available to fill up the vacant posts & sourcing the said category employee through open recruitment will need long time or the response to open advertisement is not sufficient.
Pay Scale
The engaged persons will be paid a consolidated amount of 50% of wages last ' drawn i.e. Basic + DA, for each month of service rendered. The period of absence will be proportionately deducted on a pro-rata basis. This will be a consolidated pay inclusive of Underground and all other allowances. The UG allowance last drawn will be added to basic or 50% of the some will be added to consolidated payment

The engaged person is required to give due diligence to his duty & abide by Safety norms & protect the property and materials Of the Company. In case of damage or loss to the employer's property, the extent of the damage will be recoverable from the payment or by any other lawful means. 2. During the period of engagement if the physical condition of the persons so engaged not found satisfactory impeding his performance or if otherwise his performance is found unsatisfactory for any reason whatsoever, the company will be at liberty to terminate the service giving 30 days notice or payment in lieu of such notice. The engaged person may also leave the service after giving 1 (one) month pay. 3. A deduction of 3% from the pay will be made as security deposit which will -be refunded at the end of contract. 4. The engaged persons will not be entitled to any other statutory benefits including PF, Gratuity etc. 5. Tenure of engagement can be extended on recommendation Of the selection committee and with the approval of CMD. 6. The engaged persons shall not be engaged himself with any other business and shall not indulge in unlawful activities or activities contrary to the interest of the Company. The decision of the Controlling Authority is sufficient in this respect.

Job Description
Eastern Coalfields Limited (A Subsidiary of Coal India Limited), Sanctoria (WB) looking for following Medical Specialists and invites applications for engagement of Medical Specialist Consultant from retired executives of Medical Discipline from CIL & its Subsidiaries on contract basis for an initial period of one year which may be extended for one more year depending upon the requirement and satisfactory performance. The eligibility criteria, terms of engagement, pay & allowances, other benefits are as per CIL Policy for engagement of Medical Consultants circulated vide 0M No. CIL/C5A (PC)/Medical Consultant/405 dated 30-03-2020, a copy of which iS attached herewith (also available on CIL's Official website-wwwcoalindimimunder link - Info Bank/Circulars). Applicants are advised to carefully read the eligibility criteria and other conditions as mentioned in the aforesaid 0M No. 405 dated 30-03-2020.

In case, any discrepancy or concealment of information is found, the contract period of such Medical consultant will be terminated with immediate effect without any notice period. Any absence from work fora continuous period of fifteen days or more without proper written permission of the Reporting Authority will amount to voluntary abandonment of engagement and automatic termination without any notice or payment in lieu of notice period. viii. The period of engagement is liable to be terminated at any time without assigning any reason thereof after giving one month's notice on either side or on payment of one month's consolidated honorarium in lieu thereof.
