Interested candidates shall submit the hard copy of application with bio-data to The Director, Directorate of Dairy Development, Pattom P.O, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 004 on or before 10.06.2016 (4 pm). The submitted application / bio-data shall be complete in all aspects including relevant information regarding Name, Age, Qualifications, Marks / Grades obtained, Experience, Relevant technical skills etc. A recent passport size photo of the candidate shall be attached in the bio-data. A self attested copy of mark list and experience certificate shall be attached along with the application. A soft copy of the application and bio-data shall also be emailed to dairydirector05@yahoo.co.in

General
Instructions

a) The Director, Dairy Development Department shall be the final authority for selection of the candidate for the post notified. b) Candidate shall submit one application only. Submission of more than one application may lead to rejection of all the applications submitted. c) Submission of the application does not confer any right on the applicant to be called for further process. d) Wrong declaration/submission of false information/incomplete application or any other action contrary to law shall lead to cancellation of the candidature at any stage. e) Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification and shall lead to cancellation of the candidature. f) The Director, Dairy Development reserves the right to freeze / terminate the contract of appointment at any point of time without any prior notice. g) The notice period for resignation from the part of candidate selected shall be 2 months. h) The System Administrator shall work as per instructions from The Project Cell / Planning Wing of the Directorate. He shall co-ordinate the automation programme of the department as included in the state plan scheme 2016-17 under the Scheme Component : Documentation and Data Bank Creation coming under the Scheme : Assistance to DCS with HOA : 2404-00-195-94-31

THE MAIN ACTIVITIES ARE TO EDUCATE THE FARMERS PROVIDING INPUTS AND TECHNICAL ADVICE FOR PRODUCING GOOD QUALITY MILK AND CULTIVATE SCIENTIFIC MANAGEMENT PRACTICES TO REDUCE THE COST OF PRODUCTION AND INCREASE THE PROFIT, ORGANISATION AND REGISTRATION OF DAIRY CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES, SUPERVISION, INSPECTION, ELECTION, ARBITRATION ETC RELATED TO DAIRY CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES, IMPLEMENTING PLAN SCHEMES RELATED TO DAIRY SECTOR, ENSURING THE QUALITY OF MILK AND MILK PRODUCTS, ENHANCING PRODUCTION AND CONSUMPTION OF MILK PRODUCTS AND OVERALL DEVELOPMENT OF AGRICULTURE SECTOR.

WITH DAIRY DEPARTMENT’S INTERVENTION MILK PRODUCTION IN KERALA INCREASED FROM 1.85 LMT IN 1962 TO 26 LMT IN 2009.THE PER CAPITA AVAILABILITY WAS INCREASED FROM 30 GMS IN 1962 TO 213 GMS. MILK WAS SURPLUS IN KERALA DURING THE 1998-1999 YEARS AND MILK IS THE ONLY FOOD ITEM OF WHICH 70% OF THE TOTAL REQUIREMENT IS PRODUCED IN THE STATE ITSELF.

TO TAKE A LEAD ROLE IN MAKING THE STATE SELF SUFFICIENT IN MILK PRODUCTION AND FODDER PRODUCTION, STRENGTHENING THE DAIRY

CO-OPERATIVE SECTOR, THEREBY ENSURING FAIR PRICE FOR THE MILK PRODUCERS AND QUALITY MILK FOOD FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
