Instructions

i. Contract Teachers who enter into contract with the Railway will not have any claim or right for his/her continuity in service or automatic extension of the term of contract services rendered as part time contract will not have any right in respect of considering of their period in regular selection through Railway Recruitment Board and will not form part of the cadre of railway teachers. ii. Engagement of Contract teachers on contract basis may be done for a period of not less than 07 days and not more than 200 working days, Such arrangements can be discontinued at any time without any prior notice and without assigning any reason. iii. The maximum teaching periods allotted to such Contract teachers should not exceed 5 in number in a day. iv. The Contract teachers would perform all the jobs related to academics including evaluation work for which no payment over and above the one for taking periods will be made. v. Contract teachers will not be entitled to any other facility like leave, medical, passes, PTOs, transportation etc. vi. Teachers appointed on contractual basis will not be entitled for vacation pay and during Autmn/winter break. Contract Teachers entitled for monthly consolidated remuneration and not entitled for any other perks/facilities in case Of absence from duty on working days pro rata recovery shall be made. vii. The calculation of pro rata remuneration will be as follows; (Consolidated monthly remuneration X Number of days worked)

a) Post Graduate Degree /DM/DNB or Diploma# in the concerned specialty from university recognized by state/Central Government. b) If such candidates are not available in particular specialty, without PG qualification but having at least three years experience after MBBS out of which one-year Junior residency in Government hospital in the concerned specialty can be considered for a period of one year only subject to the condition that fresh selection process has to be done by end of one year. c) Extension for another year wiN be allowed to these MBBS doctor with three-year experience if again no candidate with Diploma/ PG/DNB/ DM applies.
