Essential qualification : MSc in Botany/ Plant Biology/ Biotechnology. Experience in DNA
barcoding/ marker development/ related Molecular techniques on plant
samples.
Age limit : Not exceeding 28 years (relatable as per norms).
Monthly emoluments : Rs. 31,000 + 24% HRA/-
Period of engagement : 6 months
Nature of duties : Plant collection, DNA extraction and barcoding studies, preparation of
monographs/technical reports
General Terms and Conditions:
1. The above position is purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. There is no
provision for re-employment after termination of project. The selected candidate will not have any
right for claiming pay scale or absorption against any regular post being vacant on a later date at this
institute/council.
2. Candidates attending the interview should bring the original educational qualification, experience
certificates and publications etc. Candidates already working should produce “No Objection
Certificate” in case he/she is employed elsewhere
