❖ Application format is available at Centre's website (https://cbmr.res.in/). Application duly completed on prescribed form should be sent, with copies of proofs of educational/academic qualifications, experience, testimonials, research publications etc, as indicated there in. ❖ Reservation: Reservation rules will be applicable as per ‘The Public Services (Reservation for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes) Act, 1994’ and Government orders issued from time to time for the domicile of Uttar Pradesh. Certificate issued by competent authority on prescribed format of Government of Uttar Pradesh is required for the claim of any reservation i.e. SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD. ❖ Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Class, Dependents of Freedom Fighter, Persons with Disability, Ex-Serviceman and women candidates who are not the permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh shall not be given the benefit of reservation/age relaxation. Such candidates shall be treated as the candidates of the General Category. ❖ In case of women candidates, the Caste Certificate of a person is to be decided on the basis of her birth in the said community as per UP government rules will only be treated as valid. ❖ EWS candidates should submit a certificate, issued by the competent authority of UP Govt (Order no.1/2019/4/1/2002/Ka-2/19T.C.-11 dated 18/2/2019). ❖ As per EWS guidelines the EWS posts are not carried forward/or considered as backlog vacancy in case unfilled hence other category candidates may be allowed provisionally to apply for post subject to condition that they will be considered for the post as an UR Candidates only if EWS category seat is otherwise not filled. ❖ Application format is available at Centre's website (https://cbmr.res.in/). About Centre of Bio-Medical Research (CBMR) – सेंटर ऑफ़ बायो -मेडिकल रिसर्च:

The Centre was conceptualized in the year 1999 and initially established as a unit of the Sanjay Gandhi Post graduate Institute of Medical Sciences in order to establish a close link among the basic and the clinical scientists and to generate appropriate human resource to fully exploit the potentials of an area of science (Magnetic Resonance) which has till date produced seven Nobel Laureates in all disciplines of science eligible for the award. This set the objectives for the Centre to carry out research in interdisciplinary aspects of Magnetic Resonance and to develop the appropriate human resource at the national level. The Centre achieved the objectives within a couple of years of its establishment. Considering the importance of the field, the Government decided to develop it as an autonomous Institution of the Government of Uttar Pradesh with its own Governing Council and management structure.
