Presently, only two posts are filled up and three posts are lying vacant. Out of these two incumbent officers, one officer namely Shri S.K. Bhatnagar (Cadre CBIC) has requested for his premature repatriation and his request has been forwarded to DoR(HQ) and CBIC as the officer is anticipating his promotion in near tUture to the post Of Commissioner in his parent cadre i.e. CBIC. Another incumbent officer is completing his tenure under Central Staffing Scheme in September 2020. As such, this Bureau is in dire need of filling up the posts lying vacant in the grade of Addl. Director/ Joint Director on urgent basis. In summary, One post encadred for CBIC is already vacant and other is likely to be vacant on account of repatriation of Shri S.K. Bhatnagar.
