The following categories of applicants shall be eligible to apply for selection as Law Clerks : (A) (i) Fresh Law Graduates who have passed the final LLB Examination in the first attempt with minimum of 55% marks. or (ii) Candidates possessing a Post Graduate Degree in Law. (B) The High Court may consider giving preference to candidates holding a Post Graduate Degree in Law. (C) Candidates must have basic knowledge in the use of Computers/Laptop and softwares relating to case laws.

On the date of publication of advertisement age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and more than 38 years in case of General category and not more than 43 years in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class or Special Backward Class specified for the time being by the Government of Maharashtra.

Before commencing process to fill up Online Application, the candidate must have his/her latest passport size photograph and signature duly scanned in separate files in the .jpg/.jpeg format in such a manner that size of each file should not exceed 40 KB and shall attach the same at the appropriate places shown in the online application form. 4. Candidate shall fill up online application carefully and submit the same by pressing “I Agree” button. The Candidate shall take printout of duly filled up online application. The amount of monthly consolidated honorarium/remuneration shall be Rs. 25,000/- for initial period and if the work found satisfactory then the same may be increased up to Rs.40,000/-, subject to deduction of applicable taxes.

A person who is not more than 40 years of age, as on the date of publication of Advertisement shall be eligible for appointment as Senior System Officer/System Officer. Provided that, the upper age limit in the case of the candidates belonging to SC/ST and communities recognized as backward by the Government for the purpose of recruitment shall be 45 years.

(a) The Senior System Officer/System Officer shall render technical assistance to the Registrar General, the Principal District Judge or the Principal Judge as the case may be in the ICT enablement of the Courts to enhance the efficiency of the Case Information System. (b) The Senior System Officers/System Officer shall perform the following functions:- (I) Resolve CIS and Data replication issues, (ii) Install hardware and software, (iii) Resolve hardware, software and network related issues. (iv) Assist the Principal District Judge or the Principal Judge to monitor and analyze the data uploaded on the National Judicial Data Grid and to generate Reports required to improve the Court/Cases Management. (v) Impart training to the Officers and Staff. (c) The Principal District Judge with the prior approval of the High Court may prescribe the duties of the Senior System Officers and System Officer, by general or special order, from time to time and likewise, may provide for the subordination of, and internal relativity amongst the staff of the District Court viz-a-viz Senior System Officer/System Officer. (d) The High Court and the Principal District Judge may further specify, modify, add to or delete from the duties of the Senior System Officer/System Officer from time to time.
