Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the educational qualification, age, and other eligibility conditions specified below before applying for the APCOB Apprentice Recruitment 2026. Candidates must have completed graduation and hold a valid passing certificate. Candidates must be proficient in Telugu and English (reading and writing). All eligibility conditions (age, qualification, etc.) are computed as on 01.08.2026. The candidate must not have undergone apprenticeship in any other organization, terminated an apprenticeship midway, or be currently pursuing apprenticeship training in any other bank/organization/company/firm under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Candidates with one or more years of training or job experience after completing their educational qualification are not eligible. Candidates must have a 100% complete profile on the NATS apprenticeship portal to be eligible to apply. Engagement is subject to the candidate being declared medically fit as per the Bank's requirement. Candidates who do not hold a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet showing the specified local language must clear a local language test conducted during Document Verification.

Fill in the application form with accurate personal, academic, and category details. Upload the required documents/certificates as specified in the application form. Review the application carefully and submit it online between 02.08.2026 and 11.08.2026. Keep a printout or digital copy of the submitted application for future reference. Note: Applications can be submitted only in online mode. No other mode of application will be accepted.
Important Instructions
This engagement is an apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and is not an employment with the Bank. There is no obligation on the Bank to offer employment after completion of the apprenticeship, nor is the apprentice obligated to accept employment. No transport, hostel, or residential accommodation facility will be provided during the training period. Candidature is provisional and subject to subsequent verification of documents; furnishing false or incorrect information can lead to cancellation of candidature or termination of engagement, even after appointment. The Bank reserves the right to allot selected candidates to any Branch/Head Office within the state of Andhra Pradesh. An apprentice who fails to qualify the local language test (where applicable) will not be engaged. Apprentices are entitled to one casual leave on completion of one month of apprenticeship (maximum 3 casual leaves at a time); no other type of leave applies, and no overtime is permitted. The Bank can terminate the Contract of Apprenticeship after giving 7 days' notice in cases of misconduct, misbehavior, disobedience, or unsatisfactory performance. On premature termination due to the apprentice's failure to comply with contract terms, the apprentice/surety must indemnify the Bank for training costs (up to one month's last drawn stipend). After completing training, apprentices must pass an assessment test (theory conducted by BFSI Sector Skill Council of India and practical conducted by the Bank) to receive a jointly issued Apprenticeship Certificate (APCOB - BFSI SSC), followed by a Certificate of Proficiency (CoP) from the National Council. Any dispute arising from this recruitment is subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Vijayawada. All further announcements related to this recruitment will be published only on the official APCOB website; no separate advertisement will be issued. Selection to the APCOB Apprentice program is based on a merit list prepared from academic marks, followed by document verification. The selection process includes: Registration on the NATS 2.0 portal (www.nats.education.gov.in) with a 100% complete profile. Online application submission via the APCOB website between 02.08.2026 and 11.08.2026. Scrutiny of applications received on or before the last date by a Committee appointed by the Bank. Preparation of a merit list in descending order based on marks/percentage obtained in SSC, 12th (HSC/10+2), and Graduation. In case of a tie in percentage, candidates are ranked according to age in descending order (older candidates ranked higher). Document Verification (DV) at the APCOB Head Office in Vijayawada for shortlisted candidates. Final engagement subject to satisfactory verification of character, antecedents, and caste validity certificates (wherever applicable). Selected candidates receive communication for Document Verification and, upon final selection, an email communication from APCOB.
