How To Apply:  The upper age limit for the posts at Sl.No.1, 2 & 3 is 35 years and for the post at Sl.No.4 is 30 years. While as for the post at Sl. No. 5 is 28 years. However relaxation in upper age limit shall be given upto 5 years in case of SC/ST and departmental candidates as prescribed by Govt. of India from to time and to applicants who had ordinarily been domiciled in J&K State during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.  The age shall be determined as on 31-12-2015.  The application form can be downloaded from Institute website  The duly filled in forms along with Bank Draft for an amount of Rs. 500/- drawn from any Nationalised or Schedule Bank payable to Principal, Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Srinagar with self attested copies of academic, experience, and category and age relaxation certificates, should reach the undersigned within 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement.  After screening of the eligible candidates, a written test shall be conducted through National Council for Hotel Management, Catering & Technology, NOIDA. The test shall be held in Srinagar for which no travelling and other expenses shall be paid by the Institute.  Only the candidates who shall qualify the written test shall be shortlisted for trade / practical test as the case may be.

The Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Srinagar Sponsored by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, was established in 1982 for training of candidates in the field of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition. This was the 5th Hotel Management Institute in the country and first in the state of J&K.
